Your phone system is often the first point of contact your business has with potential new clients. A robotic voice, or a homemade recording without the proper equipment can tarnish the first impression you make on your customers.
Generally, poor audio quality is one of the most commonly reported mistakes in IVR systems. A genuine, human voice recorded with professional equipment can inspire confidence in your callers.

Phone/IVR Voice Over FAQ
What is IVR?
Interactive Voice Response (or IVR) is any sort of phone answering system that allows the caller to interact with the system, rather than merely listening a message like a voicemail or an answering machine. “Auto Attendants” are also a form of IVR.
If your phone system recognizes when a caller says key words like, “Account Status” or if it allows a caller to “Press 1” to reach a specific department or leave a message, that’s an IVR!
What kinds of Phone/IVR projects do you do?
I’m happy to help with this type of project for any office or industry! Here are some examples:
Doctor and Medical Offices
Setting appointments, requesting medical records, questions for doctors…Your patients have many reasons to call your offices. A clear, easy to navigate phone menu can get them to the right person faster, meaning less frustration for them, and less congestion on the line for you.
Hospital Networks
These networks often span several physical locations and callers might be dealing with an urgent or stressful situation. Calm, confident instructions can get patients where they need to go more quickly when they call in. Also, it builds trust from the first point of contact.
Law Firms and Private Practice Attorneys
A professional greeting or knowledgeable explanation of services offered can instill confidence that your staff are capable and trustworthy to handle someone’s case. This sort of trust, especially in confidential matters, will keep your clients coming back for years.
Banks and Credit Unions
Hours of operation, checking account status, activating bank cards…An efficient and helpful IVR message can automate many customer requests, which means your staff can spend less time on the phones, and more time helping customers in person. It also makes your business more convenient and appealing!
Corporate/Business Offices
Even if your business doesn’t field many calls from external customers, internal lines can still benefit from quality recordings. For example, HR hotlines for employees to find information about their benefits or anonymously report incidents can help streamline communications.
Call Centers and Customer Service
Call centers can undoubtedly be stressful environments. Callers are often frustrated, and being on hold during busy periods can amplify that frustration. A friendly, encouraging voice thanking them for waiting, telling them about your services, or offering to call them back can make a significant difference in their experience.
After Hours Messages and Business Voicemail
The impression your business makes doesn’t just stop when you close at the end of the work day. A concise, professional greeting for callers contacting your office after hours can assure them that your staff cares about quality, and will contact them promptly when business hours resume.
And any other project for which you need a professional male Phone/IVR voiceover artist!
What is your policy on revisions?
I want you to be completely satisfied with the audio we produce together for your project, and sometimes, you hear the first draft and realize you want to change some things with your script. That’s a normal part of the process, in my opinion.
Generally, I provide up to two rounds of revisions (involving up to 50% of the original script) as part of my standard rates. We can discuss additional changes on a case-by-case basis.
Pronunciation mistakes or missing words are corrected for free, of course.
My company only hires from casting sites. How can I work with you?
Not a problem! You can find me here on Voices.com and you’re welcome to message me directly on the platform.
If you or your company prefer other platforms, feel free to message me and we can discuss them!
